Gosling's Family of Rums are triumphant at the 2003 International Rum Festival.Gosling's Family of Rums are honored for the third consecutive year at the 14th Annual International Rum Festival held in Newfoundland, Canada. A PLATINUM Award in the Overproof Category and 3 GOLD Awards, one of which was in the Premium Category, were presented to Gosling's at the 2003 International Rum Festival in which over 165 rums were displayed, tasted and judged. Super-premium Gosling's Black Seal Rum is made from a 150-year old Gosling's family recipe and comprises of three independently aged (3-6 years) distillates aged in once-used charred American oak bourbon casks. The smooth, full flavor is the result of a careful blend of aged pot and continuous still distillates. One imparts flavor; the other a subtle elegance. A family business for nearly two centuries, Gosling's is Bermuda's oldest business house, and is the largest exporter of a Bermuda-made product.
