The great weather has sparked the players who enjoyed in the most part much better rounds than yesterday. PH Horgan’s very consistent three day rounds 66, 69, 68 has put the 2004 and 2006 Gosling’s Invitational winner tied at 203, 7 under par with the 2010 winner, Bill Walsh who carded a 70-68-65. Brian McCann is not far behind with a 207, 3 under par for the Professional Division. The Senior Professional Division has Donny Jarvis holding the three day lead with a 73-73-78, 224 total at 14 over. He is followed closely by John Rushnell who edged out John Brott to take second place with a 226, 16 over par, and Brott at one point behind, 17 over par. All three within striking distance for this Division title. Steven DeCosta has had an amazing three day run in the Open Amateur Division with an impressive 22 stroke lead, which also places him in 4th place overall. Steven is edged out of the top position by three Professionals PH Horgan, Bill Walsh and Brian McCann. The Senior Amateur Division has Glenn Kelley who continues his run at the top of this division with a total of 222, 12 over par. Hav Trott’s three day total of 232, at 22 over, and with Max Atherden at a 25 over par to take third place in this division. The third round play has proven each day brings more excitement to the Gosling’s Invitational and with these scores, tomorrow is going to be an exhilarating and interesting final round not to be missed.
