Meet Matt Ortiz. Isn’t he cute?! Matt is the General Manager at Chama Restaurant, located at 425 South Teller Street in Bel Mar, Lakewood, CO. For the past 15 years, he has been bartending, after starting out working for his father’s catering company.

He best enjoys mixing his cocktails with Gosling’s Rums. When we asked Matt what he likes so much about Gosling’s Rums, he replied: “They are soft, complex, and well-rounded. They have depth in their flavor without the traditional burn of rum. Although Chama Restaurant is known for its tequila selection, Gosling’s Rums do well at Chama because of their similarity in composition to agave-based spirits.”

Matt’s favourite cocktail is the Mojito de Oro, a Gosling's Gold Rum based mojito with a floater of Gosling’s Black Seal Rum. The Mojito de Oro is also the staff and patron favorite!

Matt also mixes a house special that uses Gosling’s Gold Rum, muddled orange, and mint. “It is very refreshing for our patrons when they are sitting on the patio in summertime. We are very selective about our rums, and Gosling's has made the cut with each representation. We carry all 3 (Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, Gosling’s Gold Rum, and Gosling’s Family Reserve Old Rum), and they are always appreciated by the most discerning spirit connoisseurs.”
