We are pleased to present Sara “Pea” Parenti as our Bartender of the Month during June 2009. Sara is a bartender at Chicago Street Pub in Joliet, IL. Sara graduated from JJC in Hospitality in 2007 and hopes one day to have her own bar. She has been bartending at Chicago Street Pub for nearly a year and thoroughly enjoys her role in the thriving bar environment.

Sara says “I enjoy the company of the people I work with, the customers, and the atmosphere. I also love live music, most specifically Backyard Tire Fire, Chicago Farmer, The Righteous Hillbillies, and many more, so that’s an added bonus at Chicago Street Pub, Joliet’s premier original live music venue. My favourite cocktail is Gosling’s Black Seal Rum and ginger ale, however our newest Gosling’s Rum cocktail to fly over the bar at the Chicago Street Pub is called The Peppery Seal.”

Chicago Street Pub is a welcoming and friendly pub/restaurant, where the good times roll all the time.
