Yard of Flannel Holiday Punch - HOLIDAY SPIRIT COLLECTION
1 cup Gosling's Gold Bermuda Rum
1 qt of good Ale
4 tbs sugar
1 tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
1 tsp ground ginger
Beat the eggs with the sugar until somewhat thickened and lemony. Now add the nutmeg, ginger and Gosling's Gold Bermuda Rum. Heat the ale, but do not boil. Carefully pour the hot ale into the egg mixture stirring constantly to prevent the eggs from curdling. When everything is well combined pour the mixture from one pitcher to another to enhance the creaminess of the drink. Serve in warm mugs with a little grated nutmeg for garnish.
