Set over two floors, with vast open fires on both, The Arbiter is a pub serving good quality, substantial food in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Maintaining the original character of the building, the rooms offer low-level atmospheric lighting along with vintage furniture and interesting objects such as an original 40’s Globe bar and vintage car memorabilia on the walls, adding to the character of the rooms.
The Arbiter is licensed seven days a week from 12 noon 'til 12 p.m. and 1 a.m. on the weekend. Launching soon, The Sunday Cinema will offer people the option to enjoy appropriately chosen films post Sunday lunch. The food is British with a Scandinavian influence, with choice dishes of Danish meatballs to share and toad in the hole.
The Arbiter offers a range of drinks from ales to cocktails, including the popular Dark 'n Stormy cocktail made with Gosling's Black Seal Rum and ginger beer, with a carefully chosen wine list. Gosling's Black Seal Rum and Gosling's Family Reserve Old Rum are both served at here.
