Overlooking the Great Sound, this restaurant offers a diverse menu sure to please diners. If you want filling and satisfying food, Pirates Landing is the ideal choice. Everyone seems to get into the "pirate-esque" spirit, especially after a Gosling’s Rum punch or two. The standard lunch fare is soups, burgers, pastas, and grilled specialties. The gyros on pita bread are spicy delights, especially the 7-inch gyro pizza made with fresh vegetables, pepperoni, and mozzarella. At night the kitchen shines brighter, as the chefs look abroad for inspiration. Two of the finest dishes are beef tenderloin with porcini mushrooms and chicken cacciatore.
