COCKTAIL COMPETITION AT RYE BAR, SAN FRANCISCO
6 Nov 2007
Congratulations to Jacqueline Patterson, mixologist at Le Colonial. Jacqueline's cocktail creation Bermuda Triangle Float won her First Place at the recent Cocktail Competition featuring Gosling's Rum - Well Done Jacqueline!
San Francisco's top mixologists competed on Monday, November 5th to create the best cocktail featuring Gosling's Rum. The competition was an incredible night held at Rye Bar in San Francisco with Gosling's Rum drink specials offered all night long. Congratulations also go to Second Place winner Jennifer Grant, of Quattro at Four Seasons, and Third Place winner Ronaldo Pistecolli.
Cocktails were judged on originality, personality, functionality (can this drink be made in any well stocked bar?), compatibility of ingredients...and of course, taste!
Winning Cocktails of the evening:
First Place: Jacqueline Patterson of Le Colonial
Bermuda Triangle Float
Second Place: Jennifer Grant of Quattro, Four Seasons
Third Place: Ronaldo Pistecolli
Judges for the competition included City Dish, Deborah Parker Wong (Patterson's The Tasting Panel Magazine), Lisa Park (7 x 7 Magazine online food editor), and other people who know much more about making tasty cocktails than we do.
Congratulations to the competition winners and all those mixologists who helped to make the evening at Rye Bar such a fantastic experience.
