GOSLING’S RUM SCORES AN ACE WITH GOLF FANS AT PGA TOUR’S TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP

Gosling’s Rum will be serving up some of its signature drinks at this weekend’s PGA TOUR stop, the Travelers Championship, taking place at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., from June 21-27, 2010. The makers of the world’s finest rum are partnering with the Travelers Championship to bring Bermuda’s national drink, the Dark n’ Stormy, along with its complementary sister drink, the Bright n’ Sunny and the famous Bermuda Rum Swizzle to golf fans attending this marquis golf event.
Gosling’s is the Preferred Rum of the Travelers Championship and will be served at the Dark ‘n Stormy Tavern, located inside the Sponsor Club on the 18th hole. The Dark ‘n Stormy, Bright ‘n Sunny and Bermuda Rum Swizzle will be the featured drinks at the Sponsor Club, which opens for the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am - on Wednesday and remains open through the tournament’s final round on Sunday. As estimated 30,000 VIP spectators are anticipated to pass through the Sponsor Club throughout Championship Week.

Gosling’s signature drink, the Dark n’ Stormy, is the national drink of Bermuda. It is made by mixing Gosling’s Black Seal Rum with Gosling’s Stormy ginger beer. Its sister drink, the Bright n’ Sunny, is made by mixing Gosling’s Gold Bermuda Rum, an amber rum, with ginger ale and a splash of tonic. The always-popular Bermuda Rum Swizzle is made by mixing Gosling’s Black Seal Rum with Angostrua bitter, lemon, pineapple and orange juice, grenadine syrup over crushed ice.
